Community partnering is a very important part of the scenic highway process. There are many ways in which you can contribute to the Lemon Bay/Myakka Trail Scenic Highway.
Monetary donations are always the easiest and best way for most people. But other ways are just as important and most needed. If you own a landscaping business, perhaps you can donate landscaping along the street area or medium. Should you choose to "adopt" a certain portion of the roadway to do this, then we ask you to trim and /or maintain the section you choose. Other like kind contributions could be advertising for events, printing-brochures or flyers, t-shirt sponsor, trash receptacle clean-up, to name a few.
