Two very important initiatives are currently underway; the revision of the County's Land Development Regulations and the creation of the web-based "SMART CHARLOTTE 2050."

As the community grows with commercial development, questions arise amongst citizens on how it effects our area overall. The visual impact onto SR776 and it's requirements needs to team with the vision of the SR776 Scenic Highway.
The Growth Management Department is overseeing the two initiatives referenced above and may serve as a good starting point for learning more and/or getting involved.
